Thursday afternoon, two F/A-18 Hornets from the VFA-106 Gladiators stationed at NAS Oceana, Virginia, arrived to the Vero Beach Regional Airport in Vero Beach, Florida.

The F/A-18 Hornet is set to headline this weekend's Vero Beach Air Show, along with the Aeroshell Aerobatic Team, Michael Goulian, Rob Holland, the Shockwave Jet Truck, and a whole lineup of civilian performers.

The U.S. Navy Tac Demo Team sent the Hornets to southeast Florida after their U.S. Navy counterparts, the Blue Angels, were forced to cancel as their stand down continues. The Blue Angels were set to headline the event prior to their cancellation.
