Thunderbird F-16 Flips During Landing in Dayton

Reports are coming in that a United States Air Force F-16 has crashed while landing at the Dayton Air Show in Ohio. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base first responders have responded to the crash.

After touching down, a gust of wind supposedly flipped the F-16 on its tail. First responders have gotten a thumbs up from an occupant inside the jet. The ejection seat is still armed, and the area has been secured. Heavy rain was coming down during the time of the accident, and the emergency aircraft are unable to get airborne.

UPDATE: One pilot has been pulled from the aircraft, but one is still stuck inside. The front ejection seat has been disarmed.

UPDATE: Both the pilot and Thunderbirds maintainer were safely pulled from the aircraft and taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries. The Thunderbirds have cancelled Saturday's performance at the Dayton Air Show and the team is still undecided on whether or not they'll perform Sunday. The Dayton Air Show will go on as scheduled.
