Dan Buchanan Passes Away Following Incident at Mountain Home AFB

Dan Buchanan, the air show industry’s most well known hang glider act, has passed away following an incident at the Gunfighter Skies Air & Space Celebration at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho.

Witnesses say Dan’s hang glider crash landed on the west side of the base, and Dan was rushed to the hospital where he passed away due to injuries. The remainder of Saturday’s show was cancelled, and the fate of Sunday’s show is yet to be determined.
