2019 Wings Over Myrtle Beach Air Show Cancelled

2019 MYRTLE BEACH AIR SHOW CANCELED – Horry County and Airport officials notified JLC AirShow Management on August 21 that the agreement to produce the scheduled 2019 Wings Over Myrtle Beach Air Show will not be approved.

Horry County’s Letter To JLC AirShow Management states -- “As the result of airfield constraints, anticipated construction projects, and other ongoing issues, please be advised that Horry County cannot consent to any airshow renewal options as contemplated in that Agreement for professional Services between Horry County and JLC Airshow Management, LLC.”

JLC AirShow Management is disappointed that the scheduled May 4-5, 2019 air show headlining the USAF Thunderbirds will not occur.  Team JLC would like to say THANK-YOU to the Myrtle Beach and Horry County community that worked so hard to make the 2018 air show a successful event.

On a positive note, JLC Airshow Management President John Cowman says “not to fret, we have another show site on the horizon!” JLC Airshow Management has successfully put on shows in three major cities within the last two years, including their annual Wings Over North Georgia Air Show in Rome, Georgia, 2017’s Wings Over Golden Isles Air Show in Brunswick, Georgia, and this past spring’s Wings Over Myrtle Beach Air Show. Stay tuned to see where JLC Airshow Management is going next!
