The Royal Air Force Red Arrows just wrapped up a three-day transit from RAF base Scampton in the United Kingdom to Halifax, Nova Scotia. The trip consisted of overnight stops in Iceland and Greenland before arriving Wednesday in Halifax.

12 BAE Systems Hawks made the trip, with nine for the display and three for backups. Their equipment and personnel flew on an Airbus A400M Atlas, which will follow the jets to each stop on their eleven week tour. Overall, 108 team members made the trip, including pilots, engineers, and support staff. Over the next three months, the Red Arrows will conduct more than 20 displays and 98 separate ground engagements. See the complete schedule below:
